Lent Begins

St. Elisabeth students began observing Lent by gathering with their school families on "Fat Tuesday," or "Mardi Gras." Together they learned the meaning and three pillars of
Lenten observance: prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
All students reflected on what they would give up for Lent and signed a "promise" or contract that was also shared with their parents. The School Family activity culminated in the creation of a poster representing what each student will sacrifice for Lent.
All students will assemble and participate in prayer and The Stations of the Cross every Friday.

St. Elisabeth Students, Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Community Celebrate Catholic Schools Week!

Our community celebrates mass as one family.

Alumni (1944, 1946) reminisce as they find their 8th grade graduation pictures. These graduates were one of the first couples to marry in the newly constructed St. Elisabeth Church in May, 1950.

The First Grade recite lines from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous speech, "I Have a Dream."

The St. Elisabeth Band members prepare to perform on Student Showcase Night.

The Student Council celebrates Teacher Appreciation Day, with a "southern comfort" theme.
